Like most businesses, BabyCakes and More started with a vision.
Raquel Hampton, a once frustrated baby shower attendee was determined not to purchase another DUPLICATE or BORING registry item again. After brainstorming ideas for practical and creative gifts, she started designing diaper cakes to give as gifts. Instead of the usual box of diapers parents register for, these gifts consisted of items from the parents' baby registry theme that provided everything a new baby needed: high quality diapers and other baby items in a fun and stylish package. The BabyCakes were always the talk of the party and so well done, they often were pursued with a fork. With such a great response, orders just started flowing in!
Proudly based in Indianapolis, Indiana, BabyCakes and More designs custom diaper cakes, tutus, gift baskets, hair accessories, and other gifts to help you celebrate life's precious moments. We offer over 50 different color combinations for diaper cakes in 5 sizes (cute cupcakes to amazingly huge 4 tier cakes) in any style conceivable! You may notice there aren't a lot of designs to choose from. Although new designs are periodically added, we are a custom boutique diaper cakery (focus on CUSTOM!) so even if you order from our catalog, rest assured; your gift will be freshly made upon ordering.
